This is a video game I designed using the Counterstrike Source engine and a modification called Virtuoso as part of Gaming/Education course I took through NCSU.
About Me...
I'm an Instructional Technology Coordinator for Pender County Schools in SE NC. I recently completed a M.S. in Instructional Technology from UNCW, completing a thesis on the impact of a 3D Video Game (Dimension-M) on middle school students' performance in mathematics.
I'm currently conducting a course for LearnNC's COLT program that introduces educators to Second Life.
When I'm not spending time with my family or working, you can often find me in World of Warcraft, where I lead a guild on the Cenarion Circle server.
I am passionate about education and gaming, particularly virtual worlds, and where those two intersect.
I maintain a few blogs:
